VPP heads up 3.58%

According to Nissan and Infiniti Vehicle Purchase Program

Employee Pricing Offer!!!
Nissan and Infiniti are proud to offer Employee pricing to our extended family, friends and Business Associates. Effective February 8th through March 31, 2010, you are eligible for a 4.3% below invoice discount on any new Nissan and 3.58% below invoice discount for any new Infiniti. All current incentives still apply. There has never been a better time to get behind the wheel of a new Nissan or Infiniti.
If you already have access to VPP Plan C/D, the deal just got sweeter!

I am curious too on the limitations; am I eligible for VPP if somebody in my household works for a company that qualifies for VPP?

FYI I just got a 2010 G37 Sedan yesterday with VPP, and this applied.
It was a pretty sweet deal

Since it says friends and family, does that mean even though I don't work for a company that qualifies for VPP, If i know someone who does, I can still get it?

Correct. However, ultimately it is up to the dealer to honor VPP or not.

Nissan called me today about my VPP A claim code to see if i made a purchase yet, and they offered me another $1,000 off the deal. This wasn't the dealer calling, it was Nissan headquarters or a division therein.

this is what i was quoted a couple weeks back:

just got this quote today for vert with premium, wood trim, wheat int., 19" tire pkg, rear wind deflector, splash guards:

MSRP= $49,905

invoice= 45,812

my price with VPP A code= 42,850

lease deal: $460/mth for 39 mths and 10K miles/yr.

$0 down, and $1,400 up front for fees and first mth payment + $4,400 refundable MSDs for total upfront of $5,800.

Money Factor= .00175

residual= 61%

gross/net residual= $30,442

The capitalized price looks good - I'm surprised the Money Factor isn't lower with all those MSDs.

I'm also interested in what limitations...

I also got a call from Nissan asking if I had used the VPP ID I had obtained a few weeks ago. Told him no, and he told me they were increasing the discount. Said an average of $1000 (told me number was based on average discount increase across Nissan line, so Infiniti would be more based on the %).

I also received two emails, one with my VPP ID I obtained, which started with D, and another with a new VPP ID, which started with B. I'm not sure if these relate to the "Plan", but I would assume so. Also glad they extended this through March as I'm probably looking to buy around that time.

the MF is controlled by Infiniti based on the fact that this was a VPP deal. That was the lowest possible MF according to the dealer. They had no control over that.

I also received a call and it was a little confusing. It strongly sounded like she was suggesting I would receive an extra $1000 beyond the VPP "A" discount level. I went to the dealer today as we are about to buy either an EX35 or M35x and they were not aware of any "additional" discount beyond raising everyone to VPP A level.

It looks like a good deal now but I'd certainly take an extra $1000 if its there.

There is also currently a $1500 Factory to Dealer incentive.

Meaning if you ask for it, the dealer may throw it in along with the VPP.

It looks like you got 6.59% off invoice with VPP Plan A. However, I thought with the promotion now everyone with VPP claim code gets Plan A pricing, which according to the title of this thread is to be 3.58%. Can someone in the know please clarify? Thanks.

I'm confused too.

also, the $1,500 fac to deal incentive expires when?

some of these deals expire on 2/28 and some on 3/31.

which ones expire when?
