Funny dashcam video during dealer maintence

I recently installed a dashcam (Blueskysea – a sweet cam for cheap from Amazon). I also recently installed Jsolo’s Clutch Pedal Assist Spring for 6MT. It makes the clutch MUCH more manageable and I no longer have difficulty shifting into 2nd gear smoothly. The clutch is a little harder to push - in a good way. It took me ten minutes to get used to it.

So I took my car for an oil change last weekend. When I picked up my car I reviewed the dashcam video to make sure that no shenanigans went on at the dealer. What a trip! Listen to the lot boy’s comments when he drives my car around the lot – he's obviously used to the Infinity "no effort clutch". He keeps talking about the clutch the whole time he's driving!

I wonder if he'd even be able to drive my car with a real clutch solution - a stage III clutch, lightweight steel flywheel, SS clutch line, and heavy duty CSC? He'd try to press the pedal down and assume it's broken.

I like the "Please Do Not Wash" sign. My dealers looks at me weird when I ask. "what our dirty sandpapered rags aren't good enough to wash and dry your car?"

Yeah - even when they write "Do not wash" on the work order they will try to wash the car.

They think that they are doing you a favor - and for most of their customers I guess they are. But I am VERY careful washing (weekly) with the two buckets and the soap sprayer etc.

I got that beat. The dealership wash I received ONCE (I didn't know that they offered this "courtesy" without asking the first time I took it in for a free oil change) is one of the drive through types. Yep. Dirty stiff bristled brush across the front and rear, scratchy cloth sweeping back and forth using recycled water and God knows what type of soap, complete with wheel rim ruining conveyor system. All 4 of my Volk GTC lips were scratched and nicked when I picked it up. I can't believe some people actually like those washes and are glad to have them as a "perk" of buying a luxury marque.
