Even though many on our (infinitiFX.org) forum said 2.5" was too big for the 3.5 VQ---it wasn't.
So far, until I find out differently, I intend to do the same exhaust on the G37.

I feel the 2.5" pipe will be just fine for this engine, too.

Of course, that's why I'm here---to find these things out.

I need to find a service manual and see just what the stock exhaust looks like, I'm thinking.
Before I jump to conclusions

 

Haha, i'm serious not being sarcastic...I like the exhaust note....Who cares where it was bought from, what brand etc?....Any video of it going 0-60 with the windows up?

 

I'm not the biggest fan of the canister look, but it sounds pretty vicious. Good job and nice vids.
