Price quote from Amplified MotorSports

MyG37 subscribers. When you receive PM or Bump from Amplified Motor Sports. Make sure to buy them at that instance. Otherwise they will not honor the price quoted. Grab your credit card and do it right away.

that is if you are even lucky enough to get a response...I've sent numerous PM's for price quotes on this site and the other...no response...called a bunch of times no answer. I'll pass there are plenty of other vendors who are eager for business and have great customer service. Just all my opinion of course.

that's usually the case when I quote u a certain product that's was on sale 6 months ago. I can't hold on to those sale prices as some manufactures and my vendors have monthly specials on certain items they have overstock. Also, manufactures or distributors do raise prices every so often and that's out of our control

it was not 6 months

I received PM on Late November of 2009. Called to finalize deal on January 2010. According to LOU the deal is no longer valid. The reason "deal was good on 2009, not 2010."

In other words, you missed out on their monthly promos

A lot of places, the pricing is set by the manufacturers not the vendor. A lot of times, the manufacturer will also list on their pricing that "prices are subjected to change without notice". So it's hard to say that something that costs 10 bucks will still be 10 bucks in few weeks.

For example, Volk wheels pricing just went up near the end of Feb. A few wheel companies just came out with new pricing in the beginning of Feb.

I know it makes pricing shopping harder so I think it's easier to just make the purchase when you are ready to commit.

Um...I believe that would be a valid reason. Deals can expire within a month you know. They don't exactly last forever.

I actually buy most if not all my stuff from Lou and never had a problem. Stuff comes on time if not sooner and I feel you can Lou at anytime. I made comments about him in the past the man don't sleep. I get replies to pms all threw the night from Amplified. I got a qoute on the JP lip kit once and then when i got the money JP kits went up. thats my 2 cents

On the other hand, there were also instances where Lou honored the quote he gave me few months prior to my actual purchase, when the deal was not valid anymore . . .

You people are crazy! Lou@Amplified FTMFW! Ordered an exhaust from him late last week, he processed my order same day, shipped the following morning, and will be here tomorrow. Other vendors here told me it would be 8-10 business days.

Always been extremely pleased with customer service from Amplified.

Are you serious? You really expected him to keep his special price to you (obviously less than you could order from him website) after a month? Wow. Manufacturers raise prices all the time and prices do fluctuate based on stock the manufacturer has.

IMO, snooze you lose! I could understand you being upset if it were a few days or maybe a week, but a month or more and you are being a bit rediculous.

rediculous is spelled ridiculous

Can't a member in this forum post something that really happened without being criticized? Is it that rediculous I mean ridiculous to post something for other members to know they should not wait more than a month to buy something from LOU. Is it that rediculous I mean ridiculous? I am not making this up. Even Lou posted, well that I waited 6 month. Which is not true. I am not trying to bring LOU down. I want to inform other members that they should not wait like I did to purchase something from LOU.

Well in the past I purchased from LOU

Injen cold air Intake
HKS Hi-Power Exhaust
Volk Wheels
and much more, and "you can understand that I am upset", yes I am upset. And for $$$$$$ reasons.

Well I guess for coil-overs I have to shop somewhere else.

+1 Lou is the best Vendor hands down.

I don't get why this thread is still even up. One of the most non-sense review of all time. Everyone vendor go by a sheet and if the manufacturer change their price then the vendor has to change it as well. Its all part of the business and relationship you have with the manufacturer. If you don't go by the sheet then you get in trouble/lose money/other vendors get mad.

I ordered Ark Exhaust + AP Racing BBK + KW V3 from Lou in different times.

Lou is a night owl lol and sometimes he's hard to reach in the day time for you guys. But when I send him emails and PM's, he always reply within 2 days.

As for the pricing, Lou honored his pricing for AP BBK to me after 1 month after he quoted me.

All I can say is that he does reply. Sometimes not immediately, but he replies in 2 days. Amplified Motorsport is a reseller. They can't control the prices if the manufacturers decide to increase their prices. You can't expect Lou to lose money on a sale right? After all, he's in the business to earn money.

The reason this thread is still up, is because you replied to it.

If manufacturer and seller relationship is so important.

Shouldn't, reseller and their customer relationship just as important?
