Was looking forward to making it there this year, hopefully next year.
Sorry to hear that you won't make it. But work sounds like a cool challenge. Hope you have fun with it!!!

Here's a fair question... assuming a rain-free event, who's taping up their nose for the road trip?

Last year I did that with a roll of green Frog tap, and it worked out just fine.

Taping up their nose? I'm guessing front bumper to avoid rock chips or something? Never heard that "car lingo" before.

Oh is that what I saw today?
There was this Porsche the whole nose was covered with blue masking tape.
Seems easier to save up for xpel. I know it's pricy but dang that seems like a lot of work for a ride.

That said it's too late for me either way.

Yes plenty of people use painters tape when road tripping or driving to a meet/show that's a decent distance away. Only downside in my opinion would be it would look weird if someone was taking rolling shots.

For me, taping the front of the car is something I wouldn't bother doing. If I really needed to, I would hit the coin op car wash before a meet/show, but probably wouldn't do that either.

You can't make your car look like you drove it around the block, when you have driven it to another country.

Damn, can't believe how fast time flew by when the word for the meet first started. Surprised i missed all the hype and chat about the meet as well. Look forward to being there this year and seeing some familiar faces and meeting the others as well. I will be coming from Brooklyn, NY and hopefully meetup with the NJ peeps like we did the first year! I can bring Chocolate chip cookies as another snack/treat. Please add me to the list Vivid and thank you for setting it all up this year, it is appreciated. I know John is relieved of being the party planner this time around :P

Spec Sheet Attached

Attendees:

Rochester was kind enough to put together a spec-sheet for all those who're interested.

It was suggested to fill in your details, and print it off on heavy stock.

Orrrrrrrr....you can answer the same questions 40 times...
