Some parts were hard, I had to have a friend with access to a lift help with the front because I couldn't fit my breaker bar in on jack stands and my 19.2 volt impact driver didn't have enough power so I needed an air tool.
The ride is a matter of opinion and preference. I like it much better now. Before I found that the 50 series tires on 18's were too squishy for me. The eibachs further highlighted the weakness in the tire for the week or so I drove it before putting the 20's on with 40 series tires. Now it feels nice and solid and much better in turns. The ride feels mostly stock on good roads but bumps are a bit more noticeable. I wouldn't call it harsh at all. I prefer to feel more of the road myself.
Yeah I did it myself for the most part. I wrote up a DIY over at Infiniti M35, M37, M45, M56 and Q70 Forums.
