06 M45 Trans and engine problems

My dealer says, they can't find or hear anything wrong. Yet, at about 40 mph and 80 mph there is a noticeable whine under acceleration. Also during the last two oil cycles the car has used at least 2 quarts. It occasionally, 6 plus times after an oil change when started blows a big cloud of blue smoke. The dealer did an oil consumption test once. I did not check the oil level after they filled it, my mistake. I did check it before I took it back in and it was fine, even though it had blown smoke when started several times. They also replaced part of the nav when it was freezing which compounded my problem with my regular fuel guage being totally inaccurate. The computer fuel guage is also now totally inaccurate. Suggestions and knowledge would be greatly appreciated. Thank you BMW

I had a friend that told me it might be due to the fact that the valves (intake and exhaust valves) are leaking a little bit of oil. That would slightly explain the blue smoke on start and the loss of oil. But I would imagine it would be miniscule, nothing over a 1/2 a quart or a few drops now and then. As for the whining and other issues you noticed I'm not sure. But that might be able to give you some insight at least to the other issues. GL
