Question M35 smooth ride????

Well i'm thinking of taking my dad to the Infiniti dealership and testing out the M35 AWD. He currently drives a Lincoln Towncar which he likes because it's roomy, the leather is nice and soft and most importantly the ride is very smooth

So my question to you guys, is the M35 AWD a smooth car like the 5 series or
E-Class or is it more sporty????? My dad doesn't drive fast, he's a cruiser type

Smooth like a 5-Series or an E-Class? Umm, I think you mean "smooth like a GS or an E-Class" seeing as the 5er and the M lean more toward the sporty side in terms of ride and handling whereas the GS and the E are more Grandpamobiles in terms of ride. On that note, the non-Sport M rides a little smoother and softer than the Sport models...obviously. Judging by what your pops drives he'll definitely be happier with the non-Sport. In fact IMO I think it's the steering he'll complain about more than the ride. Folks who are used to the lazy steering in old school Caddy and Lincoln boats are often shocked by the quicker steering ratios in some of todays executive class luxury cars.

Then again, he is driving a car which is underpinned by Ford's Panther platform...which is a body-on-frame platform...that uses a live rear axle...and was first introduced in '79. Keeping that in mind, even the Sport model would be a huge improvement over his current car. Still, test him on an M35 non-Sport. If he needs more grunt there's always the 45 non-Sport.

I have the AWD and the ride is as smooth as any LuxoSport car. With that said ur dad would probably be more happy with the smooth ride of an E class or GS lex. But on the other hand does he want to spend more money to get the those cars to the level of the M35x. This Car is more like driving a mustang than driving a towncar.
