Beshoff Project FX35
The heat exchanger system is intricate, with an auxiliary coolant reservoir complete with a pressurized cap, electric coolant pump on the left front clip and a substantial heat exchanger mounted in front of radiator. We will be spend quite a bit of time making sure plumbing looks as close to factory as possilbe and use OE fasteners wherever possible.
Next step is the install of the cold air intake system with K&N filter

The supercharged engine will run 1 range colder NGK PLFR6A/11 plugs (sorry for the poor focus
)

Heat exchanger coolant pump mounts on right front pumper clip

And the heat exchanger (intercooler) coolant resevoir finds a home nestled next to the powersteering pump

Wiring is coming next...

The piggy back control unit for engine management behind glove box. Wiring is a little tricky, maybe the least "bolt on" aspect of the project (sorry, no picture of this). Next we move to the exhaust:
The ugly and stock exhaust has to go

To be replaced with a true dual exhaust with crossover x-pipe

The all important CARB decal showing its still 50-stat legal

And we're sad to say, the project is finished. It was a lot of fun and we would love to keep going with more mods. But we'll stop for now...
