I'm thinking about wrapping my intake, the metal part with some header wrap to help keep some of the engine bay heat off of it. Might be minimal differences but couldn't hurt; that metal has to get damn hot.

I was honestly thinking about making a quick vid of my old intake after driving around where I crack and cook an egg on it. I think it would work.
