And as far as the Injen thing goes, there has yet to be a great independent dyno. They claimed 14HP and got 5HP from Pms's dyno. That was what the problem was. There high claims which no one has got close to in an independent dyno. Enough of this talk though. It gets us no where.
Yo Yo, Im gonna be in Denver this weekend, you gonna be around?

I was wondering the same... , I don't know but it seems that he didn't like them or something, in the video there's no much of a difference you are right, but in my case I do hear difference you can see the video I posted 100 pages back, and I do love my intakes, they sound great and car is pulling harder in all the curve not just high-end. My buddy is telling me since the first day I installed his, that changing from 1st to 2nd car feels like a best, now I know what he means. Maybe bboy or PMs1212 can tell you if they feel the same.

Other thing I noticed is the Passenger's side intake is higher than the other, it seems like he didn't trim the air inlet from that side, people if you don;t trim it, that's exactly what it's going to happen, it may not be a bad thing but it's inthe instructions for some reasons, and doing that, AGAIN, you will notice that the filter aligns better to the air inlet making the intake to suck more direct air, IMHO this will give more chances of beter performances.

This is why I'm selling it. I didn't want to have to trim anything, and it seems like some people won't have to, unfortunately I'm not one of them. You don't notice the difference as much with my car as I have the Tanabe exhaust and HFC's which when revving in the garage drown out alot of the sound. I did go for a spin before I took them off and have to say they really sound amazing as you get into the upper RPM's. Who knows, I may change my mind. I really want these intakes.

Well, it's up to you man, but believe me, NOBODY will notice the trim unless you tell them, with this intake or even the OEM it gets hidden behind it, I didn't trim my driver's side because it wasn't needed, but in the passenger's side, it seems that it maybe needed for everybody.

Just for you guys that haven't read it about it in the tons of previous pages, the trim we are talking about it here, is PER INSTRUCTIONS, and it's just a small piece of the air inlet right corner, this allow the front of the filter to accomodate better and it aligns a LOT better to the inlet making it gets more direct air from it. Just take a look at the instructions (http://www.jimwolftechnology.com/wol...POPINSTALL.pdf) in Page 3 step 4 .

The piece they trimmed off in the instructions looks to be no bigger than your fingertip. Is that the case erasat?

I am not particularly worried about it. You can't see it with the filters there, and the OEM intake will cover it completely when you reinstall them.

My intakes are sitting at the fedex office, awaiting pickup.

.

I trimmed it a little more than that (not much more) to make it fit better, I was not worried at all about the trim, I just wanted to align the filter the best.

Well, I will take my girls to the ZOO now so talk to you late afternoon.

it's either trim a smidge of plastic or remove the front bumper, swap washer fluid bottle and give up your first born....

In all my years of modding, a minor trim as specified in the installation instructions for this pop charger is nothing. Not a big deal for me.

How STUPID and unfortunate am I

I first was gonna order these when there were only 4 ppl.

Then i started a new job, went to orlando for almost 2 weeks, came back, and then there were 7 people.
I said i was gonna order next couple days after i put my stock intakes back on. Well, i was missing the allen wrench from my tools so that didnt happen, then i got lazy with july 4th weekend and thought i would order after.

THEN, i almost lost my right eye and had to have emergency surgery on my retina to save the eye and have been out of commission ever since.

Logged into the forums today, i see the GB is ending today and the list has jumped from 7 to 60+

WOOOOWWWW

Oh well, time to order and wait

I still am blind in my right eye, but the doctors expect my vision to return within 6 weeks almost back to normal. just in time to get my JWTs and start driving again
