It's Official.. Kearny Mesa Service
So I got new wheels from Voltic.. I mounted them on last week I believe, and my tire sensors are on and needs a reset..
I called Kearny Mesa Infiniti and asked how much they charge for sensor reset and Dave quoted me for $54.00 for an half hour labor...
I called Discount Tires since my friend works there.. He did not answer the call, but Lin answered.. And I asked him the same question @ Infiniti.. And he said.. " There is no charge, its just a reset, that can be done in 5 minutes, bring it in today"
Boogus yo! H

Are you really surprised? It's a dealership.
I go to Kearny too, they just did some warranty work, new battery, new emissions valve, and a reset of the ECU, all for Free.99.
The problem is that a dealership is a business and 95% of their customers, maybe more, don't know a single thing about how their car works or what is involved to fix it, so it should not be surprising that they charge more labor than necessary.
Got a thread about the new rims? I'd like to see them...

Looking good, man. Kearny Mesa isn't as bad as you make them out to be though, I would have expected they would charge you since swapping the wheels isn't something they do under warranty though. It's a dealership.
Can't wait to get back and snap some pictures of my car!
