You're not closing your door with the window are you? That destroys window regulators...

Coming from an s2k you should know that already

Even if that's a problem, thats still on infiniti for a design flaw. If they don't want people closing doors in a certain way, they should have clear instructions on how to properly close the door. I don't usually use the window just because I don't want finger prints, but I wasn't aware of this flaw, and if i wasn't such a stickler for finger prints i'd probably close my door pulling on the window.

This problem goes for any car with frameless doors. The problem is much worse on the G because the door is so damn heavy...

do you really expect a coupe to have framed windows? =P

Well the only other coupe I've owned was a Hyundai Tiburon, I couldn't tell you if it had a frame or not.

The Tiburon is unframed as well. You probably noticed the G door is much heavier.

I do agree that the regulators go out WAY too quickly. Based on previous Infinitis, the part numbers are the same, but this is a problem only on the coupes.

I wish there was a simple solution to this =(

@ the OP: Good luck. You gonna pick up a CR for yourself now so you can join me at the track?

best of luck. sounds like your dealer is just replacing the motors when there may be a bigger problem. may not necessarily be a lemon but hey, theres always going to be a defect car out of every group. as for bmw issues, you really need to do some research on their reliability.

Why don't you try Cerritos Infiniti for once, it seems Metro can't get it fixed correctly...

i was being sarcastic on the BMW reliability issue meaning i clearly know that they have a lot of problems but expect to have less with BMW compare to what im going through with my G
