Crappy way to start 2012

So last night I came back to my apartment in Midtown Atlanta at around 10pm. All the covered parking spots have been taken, so I parked my car on the roof for the night (which I've done many times before).

Went to move the car today only to find this:

((((((

My guess is:
-errant firework; -lame NYE drunk party person; -lame person throwing crap from the balcony in the apartment building next door that just happened to land on my moonroof

Wow, that sucks but at least it's going to be a glass coverage claim that usually doesn't have a deductible.... Good luck and pray for no rain!

Good luck!

Luckily its the glass, not the metal.

hey thanks for mentioning the glass coverage. Unfortunately Progressive still needs me to pay the deductible for glass REPLACEments...

found a golf-sized impact dent on the moonroof... sigh, must've been some drunk morons. Never leaving my car on the roof of parking deck again

No ****? Do u live near a shooting range? Did u call the police? Might wanna think about calling them and make a report just I case it happens again and someone gets hurt.

Oh...SAVE THE BULLET FOR THEM!

calling the police wont do a thing, i can assure you.

good thing your moonroof door was closed....it would have been even more of a **** on an open wound to have to clean the glass from within the car

Ya i agree, police most likely wouldn't do anything other than waste my time. I'll be on the look out if anyone got hurt from a falling bullet tho, then I might report in to give my bullet as evidence or something.

Nah I live in Midtown, Atlanta! No shooting range near me as far as I know... crazy. Probably celebratory gun fire
