Talking

Tried firefox... No difference... Scan for virus with Norton and malwarebytes none found... Did a full factory reset on my phone no difference... Like I said it's just this site...

Switching to desktop view seems to help but does not eliminate it

It happens to me too, never any problems on any other site. I had to find a different browser because using chrome isn't practical anymore with this site for me. Constantly being hijacked

Oh, not that one! I get that on Facebook, and only Facebook. That's when using Safari on my iPad. I don't run Facebook on my PC or phone. I don't know what to tell you.

So I'm guessing this site is infected with viruses... Really sad. Wonder if the owners do it purposely?

It's not a virus, per se. It's ad-ware.

There are several ad-ware blockers out there. I suggest you install one or more of them.

I do not get that pop-up here, only Facebook. And I'm not allowed to run adblockers on my iPad due to Apple policy. So, the problem is with your device.

I will agree that it could be my device... I'm on Android... But it persists after trying a bunch of things including virus and malware scans, deleting all apps that didn't come with my phone, deleting saved browser catch and cookies, installing ant trying different browser (Firefox), and doing a complete wipe of my phone... I've put allot of time into securing my phone and it is still there...

I don't have any issues on my phone. I'm posting from my phone right now. I've never gotten that popup.

I can't say I'm a huge fan of the mobile version of this site, but I've also never had any popups like it on here.

Well, Googling "amazon pop up" brought up these among the results:

Click on the “Chrome menu button” ( ) on the browser toolbar, select “Tools“, and then click on “Extensions“.

In the “Extensions” tab, remove the Amazon Deal Finder any other unknown extensions by clicking the trash can icon.

It knows it's become the center of attention. Or, like your car that makes noise that stops making noise when you bring it to the dealer.
