I just hope this was not paid as a "gift" with PayPal.

I kicked this upstairs, hopefully some resolution can be found. Really an unfortunate situation to be in for sure.

+1, a seller with integrity would be willing to reverse the trade regardless of the reason if the other party requested it.

EDIT:
It's also rather telling that he refused to send you any close-up images of the headlights, which basically meant you were doing the swap for sight-unseen headlights. That supports your position that his headlights were already damaged and he was just looking for a way to swap them for a good pair.

This is crazy and makes me think twice about who we're working with. This should hopefully encourage everyone to take the trader score more seriously.

You have a zero trade feedback.
Looks like you tried to pull a fast one.
Alex at 180 customs is a stand up guy, he said you didn't have them done.
Busted. If this is true, you are a sad excuse for a fellow member.

I have nothing to contribute other than than to say posting someone's phone number in a public forum while an issue is still being resolved is improper.

You paid with a credit card, do a dispute. Either way, personal info should be omitted IMO.

It's a buyer beware world out there. If a seller can't provide clear, legible, in focus pics of what's being sold, move on to the next seller.

Good thing you didn't try to skimp on the PayPal 3% fees.
File a claim, PayPal will look after you.
Shameless unscrupulous sellers like these exist everywhere.

That's great you feel it's improper to post someone's number during a dispute but if you have nothing else to say about the situation keep it to yourself. If you got screwed over like I did you would be furious. Maybe yes I should have looked at the person score but seeing as I am a rather new member this is a learning experience. I called Alex at oneighty who said I'd be looking at spending as much money to fix these lights as I would to get another pair. Screw your opinion about a number bro.. Maybe ill take some charm classes I suppose.
