Just thinking out loud, but would there be any interests if MyG37.com had a merchandise shop, where there were things for sale such as Hats, T-Shirts, Sweatshirts, coffee cup mugs, keychains, golf ***** etc.? With the addition of adding a new decal that Black Betty put some tremendous effort into and initiative, which is great. I am wondering if that Logo was applied to other items, would there be some interest from others on this site for some general merchandise and if so what types of items?

IMO that would be a money pit. Maybe one or two people would buy stuff but the money it took to get that started would just be wasted. my $0.02

Now, if people have specific things in mind (like Panda mentioned), then maybe on an item by item basis.

 

agreed. it would be cool to have more stuff available to us if we wanted it. but there is no way we would have enough customers. the only items i see being purchased are those stickers and maybe lanyards

 

You're dead on. To be financially worthwhile, there first of all has to be a real market for it which there isn't. Also, items like that need to be purchased in relatively big quantities to get a decent price. That requires someone to spend a big chunk of money up front and wait for months to make it back a few bucks at a time. Not really smart.

You'd be surprised. Most people say they would, but really wouldn't. Been on many automotive forums and the only "successful" product has been decal stickers... and we have that now.

 

Stickers... and maybe a keychain would be cool! (included with premier membership please )
