you know what i'm starting to like the new classifieds...

i wouldn't have stumbled upon an Authentic Gucci Unisex Key Wallet Beige had we kept the old one.

So I guess what's being said is that members and users opinions are not important. Who is this site for anyway?

If were the ones using it, why don't we get a say in the matter?

lol. soo pretty much we have no say...? the forum for sale sucks complete donkey's @#$.

Moderators should see about changing it or asking / requesting who ever is above them for the board. Since they are the main ones. 9.5/10 of the forum members who did vote voted for the old. And since a good bit of them are premier members they pay for the site to still be up....

It would be nice to see / know if the mods would comply with that and try to get the classifieds changed back. If not I think a good bit of people are going to be selling their stuff on another forum for easier sells + faster, with less confusion.

Just my opinion though.

Not said nor implied. Member feedback is of course welcomed, and encouraged, but we can do without the complaints. I understand everyones concerns with the classifieds. I'm simply saying it's not going back to the way it was (NOT Staff's decision) and we (IB Admins NOT Mods) are working on improving the current setup. Instead of one way or the other, it will be the best of both.

New classifieds were implemented by IB Admins NOT MyG37 Staff/Moderators.

I honestly would like to make some changes myself, however, I don't feel it would be appropriate for me to at this time. It's kind of a mess down there, way too cluttered, it will be improved.

^ I'm not blaming you DiamondG, but what I am saying is how can the board not care about it's members input or wants. If we are the ones using it, shouldn't we get a say or shouldn't the members opionions be taken into consideration.

You will notice less people using the forum because it is confusing to use. I've tried, trust me, however I've grown tired of the new layout and choose not to use it any more.

Again, I understand that the staff and moderators had no control over this change, however, you mods and staff must have some way of voicing our opinions to the board. MyG37 is for the users and members, if we weren't here or happy with it, what use would the site be?

Guys they told you their working on improving it so jst shhhhhh till their done !

the new one is way better, true its not as organized as the old one was but with the new system you get to see everything.

Lets say for example you used to go visit only the Audio sub-forum, u would have no idea what other things are there .. now ull see everything so even if u weren't looking for something specific u might come across something you like and u end up buying it !

the new one is waay better IMO ..
still waiting for it to be complete though.

I like organization. If everyone would post their classified in the correct subsection, there would be no problem in finding what you need. When I'm looking at wheels I don't want to see audio equiptment.

You maybe be right. Only time will tell if the classified section will get better.

I like the idea of having the last 20 threads posted in listed, but also having links to each separate sub-forum.

Agreed... There should and hopefully will be a way for this.

When you say last 20 pored classifieds... Do you mean last 20 new posts orast 20 bumped posts?

We can't create links to subforums because they no longer exist. There is one forum for cars, and another forum for parts. That's two forums, no subforums.

The real key is for members to properly categorize their items when submitting their threads, this makes the system infinitely more searchable than it was previously.

cheers

Ok, since we last posted in here, we've overcame the obstacle preventing us from having 'sub-forums' in the marketplace.

I've set some up here, to make things look like they used to.

thoughts?

I think we've all became use to the sale section, but it would be nice to make it how you did on driver.
