private classifieds

i don't like what you guys did with the private classifieds.
it's harder to find what i want.
let's say i want to search for 19 inch rims. the search engine won't search for "19" cuz it's too short

the marketplace search thing is dumb and there is no way to hide it (even though there's an option to, it doesn't work)

You guys need to learn how to use the search feature

Goto.. Search and click on Advanced Search

Type in "19 wheels" and select the marketplace under "Search in Forum(s)"

Here's what I got: https://www.myg37.com/forums/search....archid=6096528

i say the old classifieds was just fine.

Easy to look for what you need 19's or 20's - Intakes / exhaust?

But this is just all thrown together looked too unorganized.

The new "Parts Search" menu does seem to be buggy. Its' only been the since yesterday I think. In the meantime OP, the old search function still works perfectly. You can search the forum or do an advanced search to find what you need if the categories are problematic for you. Searching for "19" was never going to work even before, it's too short. Try advanced searching he private classifieds for "19 wheels" by either post or just thread titles and you should hit a home run.

+1 new layout sucks.
Its much easier to click through specific categories ie suspension wheels intake/exhaust etc.

Now it just looks cluttered as hell and you have to use the search feature which doesn't always work as intended. ie. If you are looking for 19" wheels and they are listed as 19" volks. Or the fact that you can't search for the inches sign because it is in fact a quote mark which is a specific function in the search bar. Can you type in "19" wheels"?

Don't understand why the change was made in the first place, the old system worked well..

I liked the former way better as well. I thought it worked pretty well too. I can still search and find what I'm looking for just as easily as before but it just takes a few more clicks and I actually have to search rather than just browse to find what I want.

I PM'd an admin to ask about it, let's see what happens.

i agree, the old system worked a lot better where everything is divided into sub-catergories.. now EVERYTHING is juz jumbled up into ONE section FTL lol... and the subforum search function is USELESS.

Don't believe me. Try it
