DO NOT STICK ANYTHING TO THE PAINT OF ANYONE'S CAR!!! If I found out who had stick a magnet to my finish I would seek them out and commit violent acts. A business card under my wiper is one thing (and that's bad enough) but noting stuck to anyone's car is appropriate.

The more I consider it, I can see how IB might not want any part of this. The person finding this on their car would hold them responsible and they have nothing to do with it.

As a group in Houston we are in the process of doing this, but completely independent of this site or IB.

Custom post-it on the window. Clean, no permanent damage, easy to remove.

You're right. After thinking about it... the magnet can put minor scratches onto the paint. I think good quality paper waterproof cards would work great.

custom "Post its" are the way to go.
and on the bottom of the mesage, it should say "Referred by ________"
fill in the blank with ur username.

if it is raining, there's always another time and place.
