"My Threads" suggestion

Hello,
Is there any reason why you don't have the "My Threads" link enabled on this forum? I find it very frustrating trying to find the stuff I have posted. Is there an easy way for me to find my threads that I may not know about?

I know the functionality for "My Threads" is there, but that leaves me wondering why is not being used.

Just my 2 cents.

I have not seen this "My Threads" link on any forum. Where exactly is it located?

Easiest way to find your threads/posts is to click on your user name -> Profile-> Select view more posts or Threads started by X

They have that feature on Driver. Under the user control panel there is "my posts" and "my threads". I always wondered why we dont have that over here since they are basically the same every other way. But like Diamond said, thats how I normally find previous posts.

I'm a member of a number of different forums using v.bulletin. There are tons of options that some boards utilize and some don't. "my posts" and "my threads" are great. I like the feature that automatically asks if you would like a read receipt for every PM sent out as well but we don't have it enabled here.

I do not know if you have to be logged on to see it. I get automatically logged on so it is always there for me.

Right, I like the PM notification and the post to subscribed threads notification. They keep me coming back to the forums.

just use Search.

click the Search drop down and select Advanced Search.

in the righthand column, type your username.

in the dropdown beneath your name, choose "posts by user" or "threads started by user".

it's very easy and effective!

Yes, but the "My Threads" option is more convenient and it would add value to this forum.
