I have a type-2 armrest cover from Redline Goods in faux alcantara with red stitching. It is for automatic transmission cars and I bought it by mistake, my loss is your gain. It includes the optional extra foam padding. Save yourself $10 and get this piece for $40 plus shipping

you need to take apart the armrest, glue the pieces together and then when you put the armrest back together the trim also holds it in place.
