Redline armrest?

So my arm rest got a stain on it and i'm looking to replace it.
I found these:
Infiniti G35 sedan 2007-09 shift boot - RedlineGoods leather shift boot store
Has anyone tried it? got pics of the installation or the different options?
I am thinking of just going with the black alcantera.

I had a Redline armrest cover in my old Maxima. It was pretty good quality.

Do they send an entire armrest or just like a cover which i have to attach? $50 seems so cheap.

Their install instructions page is broken, so it's hard to tell..

The alcantara with the oem-ish stitching is actually mine. I originally ordered the cover and it was a as stated; a cover with an elastic band that folded under the armrest. I think Redline was using a different template than what I had in my car and I was unsatisfied.

I purchased a new cover and sent my old one to Poland and they added padding and a new cover (glued on/permanent) and mailed it back. The process itself was a pain in the a$$ especially since my steering wheel cover wasn't as ordered either. I did get everything worked out but I think it took about 3 months.

I ordered a shift boot from Redline a few weeks ago and the quality was top notch. So yesterday I just placed an order for a e-brake boot and armrest cover with the same stitching. I'll report back when it comes in next week.

I cannot vouch for the fitment on the G35, but I recently got one for my G37 6spd. and it was too short on the sides. I had to pay a leather specialist to make it fit, but it was cheap labor.

The leather and stitching is of good quality and you can make it as custom as you want. It will just be the leather cover- no armrest or pad. It does take a while for shipping as the parts come from Poland.

It was a little more hassle with the pro install than I was expecting, but still a cheap investment in the long run.

In for details.

I have one of their shift boots and would like a matching armrest cover but have been hesitant due to reviews of fitment issues.

I'll hold off on ordering mine till thirty_seven gets his and reports back.
I'll probably go with the perforated leather or alcantera..

I went with regular leather with red stitching to match the boot I got from them. The leather quality of the boot was top notch though. I'm sure their alcantara is great too.

I have an alcantara and perforated Nappa leather steering wheel with OEM color stitching to match the seats. I also have the armrest, shift boot, and e-brake cover in alcantara with OEM colored stitching. Next step is for an alcantra/suede headliner.

The first four pics are my car.

The elastic-band cover was a awful. I send my armrest to Poland and they put on padding and a new alcantara cover which is fantastic.

Oh ok I didn't realize the website pics were your car.

How was the fitment though before you sent it off? Was it too short on the side like 4DRZ said?

I don't want to send off my armrest so i'm thinking i can just have somebody attach it a better way locally than just using that elastic thing.

I had a Redline shift boot on my Maxima. It was... OK. Neither perfect nor bad enough to do without.

4DRZ here replaced his armrest cover with a Redline product. IIRC, after bringing it to professional upholsterer, it looks 100%, and much better than the OEM vinyl. Quite amazing. Go here in his build thread: https://www.myg37.com/forums/build-t...ml#post3962193

I ordered a set of swatches from Redline for $15 seven weeks ago. It never showed up. They sent me another set two weeks ago, and that hasn't shown up yet either. It's not like the mail is getting stolen, I'm home all the time. Getting kind of annoyed about it all, to be honest.

And that's all I can say about Redline.

Well apparently it's from poland and if that's the case I'd expect it to take several weeks to months.

hmm... maybe i'll just clean up my current one.
