Tips are huge! And yes, not liking the sound. I was trying to go for the G35 note. But I think I'm to old for all this. Back to oem!

OP when you had this installed, didn't you have the exhaust shop cut an inch off how far the tips extend beyond the bumper? Asking because of desired AK v2 diffuser fitment.

No this doesn't get cut. It's a direct swap out of the original exhaust. Unbolt and bolt back up

No, he did modify the exhaust. He wasn't happy with the OEM fitment, see my car with it installed and not modified for reference.

As for the exhaust sound. I was hoping to get the same G35 exhaust note. But it does not sound like that at all. NO WHERE NEAR IT.

It now has a RASP to it which I don't like. So I might just go back to stock....

^ Yours aren't cut? Mine still sticks out just like yours! Matter of fact, it looks like it's sticking out more than yours? WTF?

^ Something seems awry if that's an inch cut and nothing was done to the three hanger positioning bolts on each side. Thanks for the additional pics for reference Ryne and OP.

No, mine is not modified at all.

I will note that they do make this exhaust for the coupe as well as the convertible. They have different part numbers. I don't know the exact difference between the two, but I would image it's the length since they have the different rear bumper covers. I would cross reference your part number online.

I ordered the one for the coupe used my vin as a reference. Must be the angles of the photos?

This is what it looks like w/o the cut. More than an inch out.

Yepppppp, it's the perfect volume/tone, especially once broken in.

The sound did change. Not as much rasping at 2.5-3k.

But I didn't like the way it look still so I removed it. Wasted so much money.

My next attempt will probably be wasting money on the Q50 Sport exhaust. The tips aren't huge on those.
