The reason you are having trouble selling these is that this classified is missing a lot of the things that a successful classified ad has. I am not picking on your or saying you are not 100% honest, just informing you of where the problem is from a prospective buyer's viewpoint and why nobody wants to buy your wheels. This is for every other seller's benefit as well as yours. Here are your problems as I see it.

You will get interest if you post actual photos of the actual wheels that you are selling and their condition. That lets buyers know that they actually exist (and that this isn't a scam by a forum noob with no prior reputation here). If you are posting that you have damaged wheels that we can't even see, and telling us that they "will be" repaired before we get them (maybe its a great repair, maybe its crap, maybe it's not repaired at all), nobody is going to take your word for it alone have an interest all all because it just sounds like trouble. Texting photos to someone if they have interest isn't appealing, I may not want to give you my cell phone number. You could be a psycho for all I know. And your cell phone may send crappy photos. Also, maybe it's just me but I'm not completely clear on whether the wheels have been repaired yet or not. Are 3 wheels repaired and the 4th one still has curb rash? Have any of them been repaired yet or are you claiming that you will repair them after you have the buyer's money?

Clear up some things and you'll have a better chance at a sale. Put yourself in the buyer's shoes and provide everything you'd want to know and see if you were buying these wheels.

Yeah truly understandable and thank you for the post.

I will post some pics later on today. 3 wheels will be repaired as I said from the first post. Wheels have NOT been repaired yet. Will be when I find a buyer. They are sitting in my storage at the moment and I will post pictures of them when they were on my car. I understand if anyone has any doubts so please ask me any questions.

Didn't realize I could edit any of my post after awhile-- not used to it since the other boards I am at don't allow it after 3 minutes!

 

just wondering but why not repair them first and then post them for sale?

 

bout to pm you why, but the reason why is because I'm out of cash purchasing another set of wheels. I would use the money for the wheels to repair them. Or I could sell them for $500 shipped and you would be responsible for it.
