Stupid me backed into those stupid concrete slab parking lot thingy with a stupid rebar sticking out.
Did you zip tie it up before or after? Or am I right in assuming you took off the end bolt holding the bumper up to prevent rubbing? I had to do the same only I bent my bolt out of the way.
Sucks man. Hope you can get it fixed.

I zip tied after... I always have some in the trunk, just in case I have to slap on my front license plates. I did have rubbing issues but I never got to doing anything to the bracket.

Thanks man. What you dont see from the pictures are the amount of paint chips on the lip/barrel. I just wished RAYS/Volk powdercoated them instead of just painting the phantoms..... thats a fail on their part.

Dealer quoted me $560 for a new oem bumper. I'm going to check out some shops tomorrow if they can repair it instead.

UPDATE**

Went to a friend of a friend's shop and he quoted me $650 to fix the bumper and do other stuff I've been holding off on.

Looks like Gertrude version 2.0 is in full effect!

The same exact thing happened to my other car's bumper... the nail in the parking cylinder ripped through the bumper of my car. I got the owner of the shopping center to pay for it because they are legally supposed to maintain those cylinders. You should definitely try that out

LOL, this happened at my work parking lot. If I ask them to pay for it, they'll think I'm crazy!

** UPDATE **

Hoping to get her into the shop on Monday... guy said it should take 3-4 days. So Gertrude version 2.0...aka GodZuki, might be released by Friday.
