Painted my calipers red.

Did all the work myself. phewww! for all you thought it was easy. NO, it is not! this is a proper way of doing it, just like painting the car. I spray painted them.

Wouldn't the proper way to do be to remove the calipers from the car? That's how I have always seen it done.

Looks good though.

Looks good! What kind of paint did you use? How many layers & did you clearcoat it? Any profile shots?

I've sanded all 4 calipers to make sure it is scuffed eveningly, then spray some primer. next step i'd spray primer, paint and then the top shining clear coat. always have to wipe them down with thinner to make sure all the dust are off before spraying them down with paint.


Tomieg: It's corvette red paint.
Rain:they are d1r raidens 20x8.5 fronts, 20x10 rears.

They look pretty good from the pics. An Akebono decal will really finish it off. Can we get some better shots?
