So did you run it with the spacers on? I wonder if there would be any noticeable difference with or without.

yup all 4 spacers were on. its only about an 1" of extra width overall so i doubt its a huge difference.

Great videos and pictures. I did think your lines in the first video were a bit off (seemed like you were apexing too early). The second video looked more reasonable. The second instructor seemed much better as well, and I was a bit disappointed that I couldn't hear him better.

Looked like a fantastic trip.

Wow, some awesome pics you have there, looks like a lot of fun! The videos were cool also!

My dad is getting back into raceing, this summer should be fun. Except he's doing the BMW/vintage car clubs of Ontario to do it. He's been collecting E24 and E28 BMWs (along with some 2002s and Barracudas) for the past 10-15 years, finally we are getting around to doing some work on them. We've stripped down one of the E24 BMW 630's, right now its just a roller, gotta do some body work, then we are swapping in a ported/polished motor with a few other goodies as well as a posi-trac rear end and some Bilsteins and Brembos. It should be a sick track car!

BTW for those of you that don't know what an E24 6 series is... shame on you!

Thanks man! And yeah they are pretty light, on the street they hold themselves pretty well for an old car, with a few mods they can become quite quick. They handle like a dream though... so nice!

I'll try to post some pics up when we start the build sometime in the spring (Canadian winter + converted barn made into a car workshop, fully insulated = still too cold to work!)
