I was at a Infiniti dealership this past weekend and they had a couple cars with OEM wheels in chrome. I typically would agree, chrome is ghetto superstar, but on a black or white car I thought it looked nice.

I had sport rims in chrome (I have pictures up on profile album), but changed them out for black chrome. I'm never going back.

thanks Thrak! u think regular chrome would look cheese on a black G convertible or should I just leave stock silver paint?

your black chrome contrasts perfectly with your gunmetal exterior.

I was thinking it would be darker than that, they look kinda like regular chrome wheels. But to the OP, dont let Infiniti do it if you really want it done, unless they do it for free.

Anything from the dealer is going to cost allot more than having it done outside the stealership. I would do gun metal though.

Thank you! I would advise not going regular chrome. Just my personal taste now.

I have some daylight pics here but the rims are dirty. Also I have noticed that they have gotten a little darker since I first got them (still just a dark gunmetal though). They also look different depending on the weather/lighting. The pictures on this page don't do it justice: https://www.myg37.com/forums/brakes-...ck-chrome.html

Regular chrome was $1500 and my dealer said black chrome is even more (not sure on the exact price).

Any dealer is ready to do anything as long as you pay them.. Just like how some dealers void your warranty for installing mods but then wouldn't mind installing the mods themselves
