Believe me it feels really smooth while shifting! The shape fits in your hand perfectly and as far as the heat goes, mine gets a little warm here in Houston but after about 30 seconds with the a/c on it goes back to perfection!

As far as installation goes, you forgot step one.....make a margarita!

Why don't you people try taking it to Infiniti and paying 40 dollars or so for them to remove it?
Esp those of you who lease you'll end up having to pay over $100.00 to replace the OEM **** when you turn the car back in or sell it, why not make a small investment to keep it.

Some Nissan / Infiniti dealerships sell aftermarket shift *****, I'm sure they are capable of installing them.

I'm sure they have a special tool or way to remove it.

That way, if it does end up destroyed they will have to replace it..............

my dealer has no special tool to remove the ****. my friend is the parts manager and said the same way i removed mine is the same way they will do it. if they **** it up they will have to replace it free of charge. but thats only if they are doing warranty work

That is a nice suggestion. Bring it to your Infiniti Dealership to have it installed. Or better yet, bring it to us!

That silver does look sweet. Ken, can your guys get the OEM **** off without damage? If so, I'll get one and have you replace it.

And the shift pattern diagram on top is a sticker that can be taken off, correct?

Infiniti of Montclair will remove the stock 6MT shift **** "without" damage and install the TS **** for $106.00, I'm sure all other dealership service techs can also do this.
