Did you reply to anyone asking for how much you can pick it up?i don't get it?

Actually you can pick them up for less.Depending on what kind of condition you would like the car to be in,how many owners,accidents?does it still have warranty,what is the mileage,what options/packages does the car have(you can get a few of them on a benz and they are not cheap)and most of all,do you have the money to maintain the car!
You can also pick one up for 45k$!!(there's a lot of people that are emotionaly attached to their cars)

Now considering that the Car i bought was 83,000$ just 4 years ago.I would say it is ridiculous how much cars depriciate!!!GIGGAPLEASE,you are absolutely right!That is what i paid for mine,29,900$ My Car,one owner car(previous lease)certified,low miles,and the best thing still came with free scheduled maintenance!
S*** now i know why i leased my G!

I love the G.
On other forums where i frequent(mercedes forums or srt)sometimes they would talk trash about the G.
And i'am allways amazed how people can be so judgemental about a car other then waht they have,when they don't even know anything from 1st hand experience.All they know is what they red in a magazine.

i allways defend the G.Because i do belive that it is one of the best looking cars out there.

 

yeah, went and looked them up. an 08 would cost like 70k. i was like damn, a person who brought this would lose like 40k over 4 years? whoa, no mb in the near future for me. wonder why it does not hold its value like a m3..

 

Yeah it's unbelivable!
Also the reason the CLK55 is not holding it's value as good as an M3 is because,the 55 does not really have a group of cars which it competes with.
It is a ....Luxury performance coupe.The M3 is a pure sports car,and allways had a bunch of other car companies trying to go after it(the clk55 was not one of them)
The clk55 doesn't really belong anywhere,if you want exclusivity you go with the CLK55 AMG,otherwise you go with a clk500 or 550.

People don't understand the clk55.That is most likely why the depriciation is so big!Sucks for somebody who bought the car when it was brand new!Does not suck for me however

When i bought it,the car came with the 17" wheels,it was about 1,7 inches higher,it had only a single muffler with dual tips.No tint,no tinted tail lights etc...i fixed i up pretty fast...Gotta Love Cars!!!

Damn, a 55amg and a G37? That is sweet!
How much quicker does the 55 feel compare to the 37?

 

You know what,the 55 just seems like it has tons of torque!!
Especially at higher speeds,it seems like it won't run out of breath!

The G feels different,when i sit in the G right after i drove the 55,i have a feeling as if the G was just as fast!It's the G's gearbox that is so great,that gives me the feeling as if the car was as fast.

The CLK55 Gearbox is not as fast as G's.On a downshift the G gives me that beautiful blimp of the throttle too,the CLK does not do such thing

I had my Cousin in the G and i was driving the 55,on a freeway in mexico.
Side by side,@ about 60 mph.We go at 3 honks and the G will hang there for a second and then the CLK just pulls and pulls.By the time i hit 130 the G is far behind.

The CLK is a Monster.
The G is more fun to drive.

^^^his 37 is sick and it sucks how without knowing first hand experience those MB guys can say such **** duuuude bring on a E55 in the LA canyons and you know whos gonna be left in rock chips and dust.......let me give u a hint it isnt the G
