spoiler (any idea why my spoiler does not have a light on it???)

aftermarket? f-ing ****...i thought this was stock since it was from the dealer.

but i like the look of the aftermarket spoiler...**** is gigantic.

 

Oh my... They sold you an aftermarket on the car and claimed it was OEM??? I'd be taking that **** back and getting some money back.

 

Yeah...I agree. That's pretty damn shady! Hope you didn't pay the full $550 for that spoiler. I think you could get that spoiler for under $300. Definitely a good opportunity to get some $$$ back.

 

well dammit...this sucks.

but here's the thing. before i took those pictures, i went to the dealership to complain about the shoddy install on the spoiler. so the service consultant ordered another spoiler and i will have a new one put on this upcoming tuesday.

i dunno...i kind of like the look of the aftermarket spoiler...but we'll see.

btw, dealer added $450 for the spoiler. f-ing **** again.

 

Has nothing to do with whether you like the look of the spoiler or not...imo...it's just the fact that they did not disclose that info to you. Did you ask for a car with the optional spoiler? Or did you know it didnt have one and asked for them to put a oem one on? Nevertheless...they should have told you it was aftermarket. The good thing about the aftermarket is that you don't have 2 brake lights...that would be worse.

In terms of the shoddy install...kinda looks like it ain't on nice and tight. And....the chrome around the backup camera shows through. OEM ones look nice and flush.

 

When I bought the car, it did not have a spoiler put on. I asked for one to be put on, they said no problem. OEM status was not discussed, as I assumed that an OEM spoiler would be installed...and this did not happen.

This situation has me irate now. Will call the dealership first thing Monday morning.

 

Not to get you more upset..but thought you should know.....I edited my last reply...check out my observation about the backup camera. 2 brake lights are beginning to so sound like a better option. Good luck in getting this issue resolved.

I knew something fishy with the spoiler was goin' on when I saw that a$$ shot of your car.

Too bulky for my taste. But if you like it, then oh well.

Love this color though. One of my top choices.
