Would they take the third brake light off inside? and add the OEM with the Brake light?

Not sure what is going to happen. I am calling the dealership tomorrow to get things straightened out.

just got off the phone with 2 separate Infiniti dealerships outside of the one I bought my car...

apparently the OEM spoiler has yet to be released for separate purchase from nissan/infiniti. the only way I can get one on there is to order a car with a spoiler straight from the factory, OR hope that the car delivered to the dealership has the spoiler already installed.

my original dealer has offered to install another aftermarket spoiler, or i can have the one i have now taken off, cleaned up, and my money refunded.

hard decision, as i want what i paid for, but do not know when i will get the OEM spoiler.

however, i also like the look of not having the light on the spoiler.

need some input, folks. thanks.

They are telling the truth on the OEM spoiler not being available.

The car's a.ss , IMO, looks retarded without the spoiler. I say you get a new aftermarket spoiler installed "flushly". Who cares if its not OEM. One tip of advice...

If you do infact get a new spoiler installed, make sure you do a THOROUGH checkup of your trunk and surrounding body panels. The dealer scratched my sh*t all up last time I went there. DO NOT LEAVE THAT DEALER IF YOU FIND A SCRATCH!!! I cant stress this enough!

I originally wanted a spoiler too really bad...but didn't know when one that fit my criteria w/the spoiler would arrive. My dealer located a couple...but they had been sold already. I jumped the gun to ensure that I take advantage of the finance offer. To be honest...the chrome lip has grown on me and I now prefer it over the OEM spoiler. In addition, I saved $550 bucks by not getting the spoiler, and down the road, I will have more options as more aftermarket spoilers will become available. I still like the OEM spoiler...however there are certain angles that look a little weird to me such as the side view and the angled back view. Also, imo, if I were to have the "oem" style spoiler, much better with the integrated frost brake light. It really depends on your taste. Get what YOU want. Just make sure you are aware of what you're really getting.

Glad you got it resolved. I'm sure you'll like the look of the OEM spoiler better than that aftermarket one you had. It just looked a little to chunky.

agreed. after looking at it some more, it just looked "off" in terms of fit and flow of the lines of the car.
