Just curious, why would you buy the car if you don't like the color? I hope you got a great deal on it.

$2K is about the lowest I have ever seen so $2,800 for a good job is not that bad. Always seemed high to me though. Can't you get it painted for about that?

Sounds reasonable but make sure they are using the 3M 1080P vinyl. A wrap is a good way to change the appearance of your car without the permanent effect of a full blown paint job and the vinyl protects the cars original paint job too. So its a win win in my book. Plenty of guys here on the forum have had their G's wrapped. Good luck and let us know what you decide to do....you can always Plasti-dip your entire car?

Quick question

Whats wrong with the color of your car. If its a damage problem a respray of the same color cost about 2k and that was for sand down prep and 2 coats of color and 2 of clear. Granted its the same factory color. Another question.. has anyone took off their wrap. Was there any paint damage, discoloring of any kind. If so what condition was the paint in when it was covered and what is the environment like that you live in.

Vinyl cost jus as much as a paint job. You get what u pay for. Theirs always cheaper but don't complain. Pay to play. What's wrong wit ur paint? Why would u buy a color u don't like?

A very good thing to do is let people know where you are located. Even better since you asked if people could do it and save you money/looking for a shop.

Wait a minute here....you started off this thread by stating that you had recently purchased a Red G37S coupe? Now you say you changed your mind at the last minute and instead got a black one?

What a waste of time!
