Dealer Praise

Well I took my wife's 2008 G37 to the dealer to get the OEM spoiler installed. I then asked the dealer about the ECM and TCM update/reflash and the battery TSB as well as the steering wheel trim bezel that was flaking off under TSB. Infiniti of Fairfield (service persone named Leslie) got all those taken care of for me!! The steering wheel bezel was covered for us as a customer care thing since our warranty was expired. The ECM update was in fact an old one and has really made a difference in how the car runs! Leslie also covered the battery at no cost to us! The spoiler was installed and looks EXCELLENT!!! I can say it really improves the looks of the back of the car dramatically from the chrome one. Oh they also replaced the front TPMS sensor on the drivers front tire FOR FREE!!!!

It will take a week for the transmission to learn my wife's driving habits but she definitely says how much better the car drives and accelerates now.
She also said it starts much better and doesn't stumble when warming up when the car is cold.

I cannot say enough how pleased I am about our local dealer and how well they treat their customers. DOMO

I agree!! When we had it there last I specifically told them not to wash my vehicle because I am particular about the paint...and they did it anyway! Apparently they did not communicate and it got mixed up with another black G37 there. I expressed my extreme displeasure and Leslie gave me a card with the service managers name on it...and wrote $200 off any parts and service for what happened.

That dealer is definitely a keeper! It is indeed good to hear that some dealerships' service department not only do their job, but go the extra mile to make you happy so that you'll keep coming back. Makes sense. They didn't really have to replace all those things for you since your G was out of warranty, as you had mentioned, but they still did it. Good deal!

It is in Fairfield California. I just wanted to post how great the dealership service department is especially since they did all the work out of warranty etc. also all you hear on posts mostly is what the dealers don't do for you I thought it would be good to post up the ones that go above and beyond as stated above!

They charged $200 for the install (paperwork is not in front of me I can update the exact amount later)...and the guy did an excellent job. It looks as if it came from the factory! I am very pleased and the spoiler looks great!!!!

Good to hear of instances like this, exactly the service you deserve. Its also great that you are acknowledging the receipt of great service, because people are always ready to express there dissatisfaction for the smallest things but never want to give credit where credit is due. Thumbs up for this dealer.
