Speeding ticket
Yea but that's because you're friends with Optimus Prime.
If the cop got you with radar gun, I heard there are a lot of laws that you can try to exploit. You can request all the documents saying that the gun must have been calibrated withing the last 3 months, the officer must have had proper training within the last x number of years....etc. Look into it.

Every radar unit is calibrated every six months in Florida (its agency policy) so that goes out the window. There is no proper training, you take the class and your certified, no retraining needed
Usually when a cop pulls you over and asks you questions... you should answer back with another question. Like stated above you just pleaded guilty to the cop. Remember the fwy's speed limit is 65 not 75 or 80... And you just told him you were going 75 x_x ... bad move.
It doesn't hurt to fight it... but then again you admitted going over speed limit. Remember they ask you questions... You return with another question!! lol... dont admit to anything!

i dont know how it works in CA but in NY, you never plead guilty (unless you cant be bothered to go to court). You mail in your ticket with a plea of innocent and when you go to court to speed up the process the DA handling the cases will usually offer a plea bargin of a lesser speed or if they are really feeling generous a non-moving violation. This way they dont have to go through the whole trial thing and the case loads move along. If you dont take the plea bargin you go in front of the judge and face your accouser (the cop) and you will lose, the only time you dont is if the cop cant make it for some reason, then the case is dismissed.
Damn, since it was bumped...
Pay the bail and request Trial by Written Declaration forms
On the form all that you need to write is:
"I stand by my plea of not guilty."
Then wait. If you're found not guilty you get your bail money back. If you're found guilty you can take it to court where you have ANOTHER chance at getting off.
I've got out of 3 out of 4 major speeding tickets this way.

I got a ticket for 5 mph over the speed limit a while back...went to court and stood there for about 1.5 hours and the judge looked at it and said, "wait in the hall, your case is being dismissed". Kind of extreme there with 5 mph over but at least show up and see if there is a chance to get out of it. If it is hell in there then go to the cashier and pay the thing. More money can be made and the easy thing to do is just pay it but I hate the state or county getting any more of my friggin money than they already do! Really, 5 mph over...what an a**! I couldn't believe and apparently neither could the judge.
