Cool

why didn't you just change it yourself? nissan and infiniti use the same oil which is not any kinda of special oil. buy the oil at auto zone and the oil filter from an infiniti or nissan dealer. i bought my from white plains ny pepe's infiniti and the filter was $6.00 and i asked my good friend the service manager what is the best oil, he told me MOBILE 1 5W 30 cost me 35 for oil and the filter was free

I went to the dealership yesterday and they wanted $119 for the oil change. The dealership is charging 17.50 a quart for that new oil Infiniti says need to go into the car. I will be exploring other options.

Just FYI you aren't allowed a free loaner always for just oil changes, just say you heard some odd noise and they'll give you a loaner under the warranty work they'll have to look at.

Ok a bit of topic but I thought I'd share since we're talking about the service department.

took mine in for the first oil change, free....but I got a call to tell me there was $23,500 worth of work that needed to be done to my 60 day old f***ing car!! WTF

bought the thing with 12miles on it sept 4th and now I find out my clutch, flywheel and the entire transmission needs to be replaced....no you didnt read wrong my ENTIRE fu**ing transmission.

dont know if anyone else had this problem, just heads up cause evidently they did not work out all the "kinks" before going to market. (warranty of course but still pisses me off)

Sorry to hear that you got ripped off. Who was your service advisor? I would never go back to Frontier Infiniti again for anything. One time my service advisor asked me if the car was mine, and i told him it was my mother's. He told me that they will not be able to service and give me a loaner car is my name was not on the title. I was like WTF??? You could actually take your car to a regular gas station and have them change the oil for you. Just buy your own oil...Most gas stations will charge you around $20-$25 if you bring your own oil.

It looks like the Ester oil changes aren't going to be cheap. It's $93+ at Beshoff Infiniti.
