Well the Cars and Coffee meet is on Saturday, so I think a good amount of Gs will show up there. There's a couple threads about it over here and someone posted it earlier in this thread. Meet up place for the cruise to the Winery is at the Target at Peninsula Town Center at 740ish.

In need of some new tires, anyone have a recommended shop near yorktown, va please PM me ASAP. I have a nail in one and a bolt in the other. Lastly I'm trying to install my decals for my BBK but my car is too low for the auto hobby shop on base, if anyone has a spot I can do that at let me know. I just need put a clear coat on once the decal is applied. Thanks in advance.

 

For tires, I don't know any shops in Yorktown, but I'd recommend buying online since it'll likely be a lot cheaper, unless you're hell bent on supporting your local tax base.

The auto shop on Fort Eustis has a more reasonable ramp to use, so I'd suggest going there. I hear Langley's is good as well, but I haven't seen it for myself despite the fact that I live 5 minutes away.

swordsman and I plan on installing his exhaust on Friday morning, so if you're free then, maybe we can knock it all out then.

 

Cool thx for the info. I ended up going with Merchants. Going to try some Nitto's NT555 for the heck of it since no one nearby can get invo's. I'm in training from 7-3 so I won't be able to go with you guys. Maybe next weekend or even during the week we can set up a mini meet or something? Idk of any places around Yorktown so if you guys pick one I'm cool with meeting up. It sucks I just missed the meet that just happend but I ended up driving home for the weekend.

It's still the same, I need tires and a good place to install em that won't damage my wheels or that can get me up on the lift. I spoke to the rep and they seem like they know what tey're doing esp when they knew what a set of Work rims were lol. Good thing is places no price match so whatever is found online is what you pay at the store. I'm free after this weekend for the next 2 weeks anytime after 3 and any time on the weekends.

Well, looks like I'm definitely headed for VA in October for the next few years. Sorry for interrupting the current tire topic, but I need a little info on radar detectors.

I have a 9500ix which I've been nothing but pleased with, but since it doesn't have particularly good oscillator shielding against RDD's, I think I'm going to upgrade. I was wondering what everyone's suggestions were for that upgrade, or if laser is so prevalent on state highways that it's not even worth it.
