i dont live there now but i used to live in williamsburg (the burg), and i had a few friends in newport news (newport blues :icon43:). i didnt really like it there, too many tourons (tourist + morons) in the 'burg, and everyone was either an indian or colonial person.

but there's decent food and everything's cheap....

EDIT: btw, hampton roads ain't in the northeast...

I grew up in the area and the money situation wasn't so great out here and all my family is east coast.

I'm in Richmond, VA
Capitol of the confederacy (and they call us "Northeast")

They should just make a Mid Atlantic region for the NC/VA/MD people.

Do they have any meets around here? Probably in NOVA. I know the 370Z guys are meeting up soon in northern VA/MD. We should get some big G/Z meets going.

I wouldn't mind having some kind of weekly or monthly meet for the G and Z owners. We should work on that.

How strict are they with front plates here? My dealer wouldn't even sell me the damn car without the front plates, even when I insisted that he not drill the holes and that I would securely fasten the license plate in some other manner. I even sent him a link to the stillen bracket but he gave me some story about cars can't be certified/pass inspection and they can't leave the lot without front plates.

VA is le-suck.
Ohio has no front plate law and they don't care how dark your tint is as long as you aren't driving a beater in the ghetto.

Byrdman Sep 14, 2009 12:57 PM

I never had a problem when I bought my G in April. I told them that i wouldnt buy it with a front plate installed.
