you just started the never ending debate again...haha. i just dropped my car on eibachs and i'm looking to get my alignment done sometime next week, so i'll let you know what happens for me. most likely though, i'll end up getting the camber kits down the road since i have some spacers i'm throwing on as well.

Did you get a new eibach springs? I got a used one, so I don't think I have to wait for the spring to settle... But need alignment... Camber kits cost too much...lol

yeah i feel you on that.. but yes i did get mine used from none other than rAiN. haha. it did take a couple of days to settle though. when i initially got it installed, the guy at the shop and i were confused cuz it looked the same as stock height. but after a drive around the block, it started settling little by little.

I got eibachs with no camber kit. Had my alignment done and the toe is in spec, camber is slightly (-) front and rear. Out of spec by maybe .1-.2 degrees. Swapping them with OEM shocks already mounted means no spring compressor and a lot easier of a job. Rears should take less than hour from wheels on to off. Fronts maybe a little longer because you have to do some wizardry to sneak them out.

BTW. Just wanted to come on here and complain about DC. Got a ticket on my parked car for no front tag (yeah my fault so no gripes there). But the ticket said "TOW REQ. YES"

WTF? they tow for not having a front plate??! Luckily my car was still there when I got back. Hate DC/Virginia laws

hey nadeem, my fellow white g buddy! dang man...i had no idea they could give you tickets for a PARKED car in DC...

i got a front license plate ticket in my previous car too, so i decided to keep in on this time on my g. haha. but my tints are a different story...need to be careful.

btw.. i know the toe is in spec for your wheels, but have you noticed any camber wear on your tires with your spacers on them?

Haha yeah it blows. The ticket is whatever I know it was against the law. BUT TOW REQUIRED! They were going to tow it for not having a front plate. That's complete horse Shhhh.. My car would be destroyed by an average tow truck. With the 19's, the low exhaust, the drop and the front lip. Not a doubt in my mind the 100 something dollar tow would be far less than the cost of damages to my car. Tow truck drivers notoriously don't give a **** about damaging cars. I had a friend towed and they took pictures of his bumper AFTER they tore it off and said the car looked like that when they picked it up. Luckily he took the picture to the cop and showed them that it was taken in the tow company's lot not on the street where they claimed to have towed him from...

And yes, definitely inner edge camber wear lol. You can't drop a car without it. But i'm at 19k on stock tires so I dont really care, still chugging along. Trying to make it to 23-25k

No one AFAIK. If you learn of anyone that will tune in this area, let me know and I'll be the first to get a tune. I really don't feel like driving to NoVA just for a tune.

I think waxing the car sounds like a good plan...after recovering from Thanksgiving dinner and buying stuff on Black Friday.

I washed my car a few days ago and it hasn't looked this good in a while. I still need to wax her for the winter months.

Yeah I'm recovering as we speak from a food induced coma. Gotta get ready for shopping in the AM as well.

Welcome aboard benito blanco! Join G35 Driver. A lot of what's going on gets posted over there in the VA Beach and Richmond threads.

And for the love of all things holy, tell us you don't have a black car!
