License plate issue in NJ
Just picked up a new G37 yesterday. When the official plates arrive it seems that holes need to be drilled in the front bumper to accomodate the bracket. The dealer of course is willing to do that. Do I risk a ticket by not putting a plate on the front?
I don't have a front plate on my G35, and I will not be putting a front plate on my G37.
IMO the car looks 10000X better, you might get a ticket for it if the cop is trying to be a ****, but its worth it.
Also if you want the plate make sure the dealer puts a proper bracket on.

This subject has been discussed many many times here. In my case, Chicago, you will get a ticket the first day you park on the street and it's $50. On day two it's $50 and so on and so on. The patrol cars could care less, it's the meter readers. There is no escape. For me a drilled bumper is a happy bumper. Good luck!!
i wish i didint have mine, but tom what do you mean by proper bracket is there a bracket that avoids wholes.. bc i have a bracket on mine it comes pit pretty far wonder if i have wholes.. hope not
