Don't be a Grinch. I love football more than most, but I will sacrifice for a good drive.

Okay, Folks . . . Here we go!

Here is the agenda for our Sunday the 13th of November run to Santa Cruz . . .

We'll start gathering together at 10:00am at the Macy's parking lot, located at the Serramonte Shopping Center in Daly City. Look for an '05 BS Coupe, that will be me. There is a Denny's there, located direct across from Macy's. My offer for breakfast for the first 5 people, whom show up first still stands.

We will leave the Macy's parking lot between 11:30am to 12 noon, if not sooner . . . Depending on the stragglers, if any. This will also afford everyone a great opportunity to get acquainted with eachother.

The other details still are as per my first post . . . Sorry, too lazy to retype everything.

If you folks enjoy winding roads and great scenery . . . I can assure you . . . You will not be disappointed. I only ask that the drivers exercise a bit of restraint, because we will be sharing the road with bicyclist and other cars.

Other than that, two issues come to mind . . .

1. Depending on the size of the group . . . Where we should stage, once in the Santa Cruz area. GTF Unlimited suggested the Seacliff Beach, located in Capitola.

2. Would you folks like to get together and share a meal?

I am open to suggestions, as I will be looking into this for ideas. I have never been to Santa Cruz with a large group. We'll discuss this in the upcoming days, prior to the run.

I would like to extend my, "Thanks!" to everyone for their interest and support on this meet.

^ Excellent ideas- I would like to add that anyone has a a two-way radio bring it along. We can communicate with one another, and be able to warn each other of cops, obstacles, stops, detours, etc.

Excellent, Boris! I have 2 here somewhere. I used them for a run to Las Vegas. Now, where did I put them?

Since I work the night before I will be one of the stragglers that shows up right before the drive. I will be ready to eat by the time we get there, so "yes" I would love to share a meal with you guys.

Another suggestion would be to, depending on the number of vehicles, break into smaller groups. It's pretty hard to keep a big group of vehicles together (safely) through stop lights and the like. For communication we could swap cell phone numbers between designated people in each group. This may work better if we have more than say 10 vehicles.

Eloy, depending on the number of cars, I definitely like your idea about splitting up into smaller groups. We will decide this at the Macy's parking lot. It's a great idea . . . Not to mention the safety issue.

Even with a sasquatch ... you might have problem with older cell phone getting signal thru the woods...I should know, since I lives there

still tentative Andy.. still tentative

i don't want to put myself on that list just yet.. i know for sure i can't make the whole thing, most likely not the drive.. if anything, just meet up with you guys at the beginning or hang out with you guys at the end.. then agian, i might just end up surprising you guys and show up for everything (but i really doubt it)..

if it wasn't certain someone's birthday that weekend, things would be different.. but i've had some elaborate things set for quite a while now.. so i'm still tentative for now..
