1) 0.0 miles - Turn LEFT at the Serramonte parking lot exit onto SOUTHGATE AVE.
2) < 0.1 miles – Turn LEFT at CALLAN BLVD.
3) 0.8 miles – Turn LEFT at HICKEY BLVD.
4) 1.2 miles – Enter freeway on the right . . . 280 SOUTH/SAN JOSE
5) 12.3 miles – Exit freeway at 92 WEST/HALFMOON BAY
6) Stay left to CA 35/SKYLINE BLVD.
7) 13.6 miles – Turn RIGHT at SKYLINE BLVD.
8) 15.5 miles – Turn LEFT at the top of the summit onto SKYLINE BLVD./BIG BASIN
*Note . . . 27.5 miles – Alice’s Restaurant on your left . . . Yummy!
9) 40.7 miles – Turn RIGHT at BIG BASIN/BOULDER/SANTA CRUZ
10) 42.0 miles ??? – Turn LEFT at Stop Sign onto BOULDER 9/SOUTH
*Note . . . Stay on CA 9, as we all pass through a handful of small towns, including Ben Lomond. We are almost there.
11) 50.0 miles ??? – Turn RIGHT at VERNON STREET . . . Staging Area, prior to rolling into Downtown Santa Cruz.

I apologize for the mileage marks for instruction #'s 10 & 11 . . . Long story, ask AL and Shane. The pilot (me) and co-pilot (Carol aka The BOSS) had a miscommunication. The mileage marks have been adjusted to my best abilities . . . Simply follow the written directions. You will get there in one piece.

After staging on Vernon Street, we will roll into town. The main target in town is "99 Bottles Of Beer On The Wall," which is located on 110 Walnut Ave in Downtown Santa Cruz. There are 2 parking structures and a few outdoor parking lots next to and around this particular eatery. There are many places to eat . . . And for the Gals . . . There are plenty of shops to browse.

Well, that's it for now . . . whew!
For someone who hasnt drive thru this way, be sure you make that trun, unless you enjoy some good ole dueling banjo music

Didnt encounter much of bike or motorcycle traffic on 35 and 9, there were one motorcycle cop on 35 just south of 35/84 pointing his radar gun at traffic, I took 84 up to Alice there are whole bunch of them on woodside(84) if you go that way you need to watch your speed! while waiting for Andy finish their breakfast, I drove about 20 minutes on 35 north form Alice, there are couple of strechs where you can get your speed demon out of your system., all and all its great drive just hope I can make it next sunday.

Shane, thanks for joining us. Yes, no.10 is a critical turn. Hmmm . . . I thought I did hear some banjo music. Can any of you squeal like a pig?

Hey, I really liked your new toy.

Great! The list is looking good. There are a few posted tentatives and probably a few, whom haven't signed up yet. Regardless, this should be a very enjoyable run for all. Thank you for all of your support on this run, thus far.

Shane, could you image if I made that mistake on the real run? I had to hear, "I told ya so!" all the way into Santa Cruz, from Carol. I am the one, whom is always behind the wheel on this particular run . . . Who woulda thunk it? She felt bad that you and Al had to follow in my blunder.

Hey, thanks for the pics. They will give people an idea of what is instore for them on the drive.

Any changes if its raining during the run time? Maybe a backup plan for a worst case scenerio isn't a bad idea.
