I am curious if anyone has experience rebuilding a transmission. I recently rebuilt mine and it leerches when going into reverse. I replaced the friction plates and torque converter. I assume I missed a spacer somewhere. I was cocky and proclaimed there is only one right way to rebuild a transmission and that was the right way. I'd like to just swap this one out for one that is un-adultrated. Then rebuild this one to handle some real power with twin turbos or a super charger.

 

Rebuilding the transmission is advanced DIY and I have not seen anyone try.

I also like Level 10 as they offer a rebuilt RE7R01A for roughly 5K.
