Hi all! I'm now the owner of a 2011 Infiniti G37x (non-NAV) Coupe with 84,200 miles here in Colorado.

The car is immaculate for its age and has great service records, despite 3 owners and one minor accident several years ago. Underside is just fair, so for the first time in my life (I'm 53), I purchased an extended warranty.

I'm handy with cars, but no expert. I can do brakes, brake fluid, transmission fluid, coolant, spark plugs, coil packs, etc., but this is my first awd and first Infinity.

I knew going into it that the headunit was old school (although I do have backup camera) and not compatible with android auto. Yet I really want that feature. Based on an extensive search, I get the impression my options are limited? Yet, Crutchfield does have options for my car, so can anyone clue me in on what the problems are with those and why I don't see more of you going that route? I realize it would probably change the look of the stock center console, but...
