I have a 2013 g37 sedan and I’m having an issue that I can’t figure out. My front passenger side is leaking water under the carpet. I pulled the carpet up and it’s a pool of water. At first I thought it was the heater core but there’s not coolant leaking from what I can tell. Does anyone else have this issue or know what it might be?
Definitely agree with the guy above, this is a common issue on g37’s especially when you live somewhere wet. Luckily I’m in Arizona so I don’t get the water, but I can visually see that the seal on the sunroof is starting to go, they are just prone to cracking and what not.

It is not the actual rubber seal on the sunroof glass that is the issue. It is the drain tube seal at the engine firewall that fails and let's water leak into the cabin.
The glass is not designed to be 100% water tight which is why the drain system exists in the first place. But, yes, with age that rubber does crack and dry rot- even with routine lubrication.
I had this issue on my 2008 G35s, both floor mats were soaked. Turned out the sunroof drain issue AND when my air suspension was installed, the main gasket for the harness was not installed/sealed properly.
Can some post a picture of the front drivers side drainhole? I looked from the top of the roof and saw no hole. Does something need to be removed to see it? I don't want to pull the pillar and vent until I actuall see the hole. 2013 sedan. Only dripping on drivers side.
I know it passes through the firewall. I mean if I open the sunroof can I see the drain hole? I've looked at several posts and a diagram. I do not actually see any drain hole around where my sunroof glass sits when I raise the sun roof. I was going to run a sunroof drain tool throuvh to see if there was a blockage. Also, I have a smaill (diameter) fiberoptic lens to view if the channel is big enough to pass.

The drain channel is there but it will be next to impossible to access from the top with the roof open. I took a few pictures to give you a general idea but water runs along the edge to the 4 corners where it "slides" underneath the rail to the drain tube.
Hope this helps?
Thank you. That explains why I couldn't find any pictures. I guess I will open the pillar to see if it looks like something I can co.foetably do myself. Again my thanks.
