i was installing a megan racing strut bar in my g37 coupe and i closed the hood before finishing install and now it is stuck. i left the passenger bracket on top of the strut tower.

 

Have someone press down on the front edge of the hood (where the latches are) while you pull the release handle. The extra weight pushing down might be enough to release the tension on the latches. Just do not go "gorilla" on the release handle else you risk breaking the cable retainer.

 

i tried that and it just closed the hood its popping up on the left side just not the right and it feels like the latch is already pushed up
