Stock g37 mod Suggestions/brands
I have a stock 2011 g37. It would be greatly appreciate for any suggestions on what brand of cold air in take, grounding kit, and exhaust I should get as well as any other mods I should do along the way. I’m about to buy some rims than after will be CAI. Idk if anyone still uses this website but I’m hoping for the best lol

Nicholas, there is a HUGE wealth of information here, spanning nearly 15 years, and all you have to do is put in the effort to research. Take your time, take notes, focus on one thing at a time. But asking people to spoonfeed your really vague questions, well it might work, but I wouldn't count on it... particularly after declaring the forum dead. I mean, that was just weird.

There's no easy way of explaining this. I try to help owners thinks this modifying route through a bit more than average because I feel like it requires so financially and for you not to dump your money on things that wont gain much for the amount of money spent. Not doing so can get you to fall out of love really quickly with the car.
Cold air intakes: What are you after, sound/power/looks/ all of them? Without going into tuning your best bet is to choose a kit that will fit your car (plenty of used 370z kits that will work and can save some money) A cheap kit will do just fine. You want to stay with a kit that is under 3 inches (standard cold air) for it to not mess with the MAF. Without tuning there wont be much gained from others however basic aftermarket filters can also give you some power on the stock air boxes. Just not as much sound and looks as tubular pipes.
Grounding kits: Unless your main battery negative is broken/oxidized it's probably fine. The G37 uses a load sensor that surrounds the negative cable. This lets the fuse box know how much duty the alternator needs to charge. Grounding the engine to the negative bypassing this sensor can cause the alternator to charge less.
If you still plan to upgrade, the best recommendation will be a bigger gauge wire that passes through that sensor. Since the hole is pretty small it will require you to create this wire or find someone that can crimp wire and pass the sensor through.
Exhaust: plenty of options here. Start with a realistic budget and start checking prices. Deleting cats will make the car rasp and proper resonator planning will need to happen to solve this rasp. There are a few cat- back options that are price dependent, some make a tad bit more power than others however it all depends on your taste. Replacement mufflers will help give you a better tone and add a tad bit of power.
