2010 g37x map code and limp
I recently purchased an auto 2010 G37x with no issues besides the fuel gauge reading incorrectly (it’d show a lower mileage in comparison to how much fuel I’d have) So I ended up checking the sending units and discovered that the variable resistors were worn out- ended up replacing the units and fuel gauge issue seems to be working fine since then.
One morning I started the car and SES came on throwing a P0106 code for the map sensor and I checked and cleaned it and out it back in, the code was cleared and took it to the mechanic to make sure and he said everything was fine, couple weeks later SES turns on again and once again p0106, the car is driving fine and then suddenly one day after in idle it starts making loud noise and while sitting in you can feel the shake? I put the car in drive and seemed like there was no power at all, car wouldn’t accelerate and slowly moving forward as well as the gas level dropped to empty showing 0km, I steered the car over to the sidewalk and turned it off. After turning on and off a couple times it drove with less power but normally again? Can someone tell me if this may be an issue with a faulty map sensor or possibly issues with maf sensors as well.
