Hello my fellow G owners...as my name says I have a 2008 G37 coupe sport 6 speed manual...finally completed my 2015 Q50 sport motor swap into it...i may be a noob here but I've been wrenching all my life...starting at about 13 yrs old..anyway this forum did provide some helpful information in doin my swap. So i thought i should join to return the favor and share my hands on experience and headaches with this beautiful beast of ours..

I was told by the dealership my oil gallery gaskets blew. Smh.

In the belly of the beast found out gaskets were fine...but found a shard of metal in the oil pan...remember to remover the two front cover bolts inside the oil pan.

Out with the old.

Pilot bearing puller needed to convert the Q50 block to manual.

From flex plate to flywheel and clutch 💪😈.

The homie VQ Roux who helped me get the same motor thats in his car into my G37. THE real ones are few.

Finally getting somewhere...bloody mission i tell you...see that oil cooler...

All done ..just to tidy up and crank...hah i wish...had to drop trans to align flywheel and crankshaft dowel pin* IMPORTANT very.

Thanks...fortunately my field of work allows me to get stuff done myself on my time......next project are the rear deck speakers and alignment...just put on some 275/35 19 ...Achilles ATR sport 2 on there. .at work lol
